Liam Blair wurde in Australien geboren und absolvierte seine Tanzausbildung 2006 bis 2009 am Youth Ballet WA in Perth sowie ab 2009 an der Académie de Danse Classique Princesse Grace in Monaco. Erste Bühnenerfahrungen sammelte er am Ballet Nice Méditerranée und gewann mehrere Preise und Stipendien, darunter den Young Male Dancer’s Award des RAD Festivals und ein Stipendium an der Académie de Danse Classique Princesse Grace in Monaco. Seit der Spielzeit 2011/2012 gehört er zunächst als Gruppentänzer, seit 2016/2017 als Solotänzer mit Gruppe und mit Beginn der Saison 2018/2019 als Solotänzer zum Aalto Ballett Essen und war u. a. als König Peter („Leonce und Lena“), Bäcker („Max und Moritz“), Stiefschwester („Cinderella“), Jacques Brel („La vie en rose“), Othello, Romeo („Romeo und Julia“), Rattenstein („Der Nussknacker“), Don José („Carmen/Boléro“), Gamache („Don Quichotte“), Siegfried („Schwanensee“), in „3 BY EKMAN“, Jiří Kyliáns „Archipel“ sowie in „Moving Colours“ von Denis Untila und Armen Hakobyan zu erleben.

Liam Blair was born in Australia and received his dance training from 2006 until 2009 at the Youth Ballet WA in Perth and subsequently at the Académie de Danse Princesse Grace in Monaco. He gathered his first stage experience at Ballet Nice Méditerranée and has won several awards and scholarships, including the Young Male Dancer’s Award at the RAD Festival and a scholarship to the Académie de Danse Princesse Grace in Monaco. Since the 2011/2012 season he is engaged at the Aalto Ballet Essen as a group dancer and became a soloist with group commitments in 2016/2017. He has performed the solo roles of King Peter (“Leonce and Lena”), Baker (“Max and Moritz”), Stepsister ("Cinderella"), Jacques Brel ("La vie en rose"), Othello, Romeo (“Romeo and Juliet”), Rattenstein (“The Nutcracker”), Don José (“Carmen/Boléro”), Gamache (“Don Quichotte”), Siegfried (“Schwanensee”) and could be seen in “3 BY EKMAN“, Jiří Kylián’s “Archipel“ and “Moving Colours“ by Denis Untila and Armen Hakobyan.
